We represent a solid international organization engaged in the distribution of premium products within the wine & spirits industry. We are currently seeking an Export Sales Director – DACH Area.
Reporting directly to the General Management, the Export Sales Director will be responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy acrossthe German-speaking markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), with the goal of strengthening distribution, expanding the client network, and consolidating the brand’s position within key channels (Ho.Re.Ca., retail, and selected importers).
Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement the distribution strategy across DACH markets, in line with the company’s overall objectives.
- Drive commercial development ensuring sustainable growth in volumes, margins, and brand equity.
- Manage and expand relationships with key commercial partners and strategic accounts.
- Coordinate local sales agents, ensuring consistent and effective market coverage.
- Collaborate with internal departments to translate brand strategy into impactful commercial actions.
- Analyze market trends, identifying new business opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Monitor budgets, performance, and sales results, reporting regularly to the General Management.
- Represent the company at international trade fairs and industry events.
- At least 10 years of experience in Sales/Export roles within the wine & spirits sector, gained in structured and international environments.
- Deep knowledge of the DACH markets, with a strong focus on Germany.
- Established professional network in the region.
- Excellent command of German (C1 level or native speaker) and fluent English.
- Strong strategic, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, results orientation, and strong cultural awareness.
- Residence in Germany preferred but not mandatory (high availability for international travel required).
