Ecopol was founded in 2009 in the heart of Tuscany (Italy) with the idea of helping people safeguard the unique landscape that surrounds us and, ultimately, our wonderful planet. The Production Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the activities of the Shift leader and managing the staff. The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing the plant's systems, verifying their functioning and the availability of the equipment and materials necessary to carry out the day's work program, as well as the presence of the relevant staff.

Duties:

·Responsible for properly staffing the shift for production.

·Short-term objective is to help train operators so that they are effectively equipped with a good degree of autonomy with regard to the management of systems, restoration and resolution of problems in general.

·Reports to the Plant Manager any problems encountered during the shift and carries out the necessary interventions in accordance with the procedures and instructions in agreement with the manager.

·Responsible for achieving objectives in terms of productivity and management of the team and their performance as indicated by the Plant Manager.

·Responsible for optimizing and improving the production flow, reducing waste and interfacing with other functions proactively to resolve existing problems.

·Supports continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs and advancing quality, and assists managers in key projects such as the development of new products and/or processes.

·Ensures that the operators when changing shifts, are punctual and equipped with all the necessary information to guarantee work continuity without wasting time.

·Verifies the correct management by Shift leaders of the tools and materials in use, as well as the correct use of personal protection dispositive.

·Provides timely information in terms of production and safety indications alert and any other information that may be necessary for the correct performance of the work activity.

·Guarantees the maintenance of company standards in terms of quality and safety.

·Participates in the implementation of productive tests by following their evolution. In the event of a fault, one must quickly analyze the problems and work, in collaboration with maintenance, to restore the functioning of the machine/equipment in the shortest possible time but always respecting the safety of all the operators involved.

·Actively collaborates with the QC department to verify the quality levels of the product produced, in compliance with company standards.

·Ensures compliance (respects and enforces) company rules and procedures and those relating to the environment and safety, and reports any problems encountered in this regard to the superior during the course of the shift.

·Ensures a good level of order and cleanliness in the workplace on a daily basis.

·Ensures correct waste management in the company (storage and differentiation).

·Actively collaborates with the health & safety manager in the risk assessment.

·Participates in audits at the request of superiors.

·Other duties as assigned

· High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

· 3+ years of related experience

· Strong visionary with proven leadership and organizational skills

· Ability to think tactically and strategically

· Detail and results oriented

· Computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office
