Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. We are driven by the following values: respect, determination, legacy, engagement and sustainability. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities - Coordinate and supervise the activities of the consultant(s) responsible for contacting and tracking the training and medical progress of workforce.
- Ensure weekly reporting on onboarding progress, including training completion and medical appointments, aligned with the Master Schedule.
- Maintain accurate and timely updates on digital platforms used for training, H&S compliance, and workforce management.
- Support the implementation of contingency and escalation plans in case of onboarding delays or participant non-compliance.
- Collaborate with Workforce Services to define standard operating procedures and timeframes for onboarding activities.
- Identify critical gaps and propose interventions (e.g., targeted reminders, incentive schemes, or on-site training) to increase completion rates.
- Share readiness reports with Venue Managers, H&S Leads, and the central Workforce team to support Games Time planning and decision-making.
- Ensure the achievement of compliance targets related to health and safety training, maintaining a training completion rate that meets both company standards and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience managing onboarding, training, or compliance workflows in complex projects or large-scale events.
- Strong project coordination skills, including experience working with consultants or external service providers.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and data-driven decision making.
- Experience in major multi-venue/multi-stakeholder events.
- Knowledge of health & safety and/or medical compliance requirements for temporary workforces.
- Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken).
