We are seeking an experienced and strategic higher education leader to serve as the Head of Performance Management. This role will be pivotal in analyzing, optimizing, and enhancing performance across our direct sales, demand generation and marketing functions. The successful candidate will lead efforts to ensure data-driven decision-making and strategic alignment across the commercial function to enable effective decision-making and growth. This is a cross-functional leadership role that partners closely with the Heads of Sales, Marketing across our brands providing an unbiased, analytics-led perspective to improve institutional effectiveness and student recruitment performance.
Performance Analysis & Insights ·Deliver comprehensive, impartial performance evaluation across multiple brands and units. ·Use data analytics and AI tools to provide deep insights into student recruitment and conversion metrics. ·Track KPIs aligned with institutional goals and benchmarks. Strategic Collaboration · Work in close partnership with Heads of Sales and Heads of Marketing across institutions to align strategies. · Contribute to short- and long-term performance improvement plans that support growth and impact.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership · Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including brand leaders, executive teams, and academic operations. · Manage a team responsible for operational reporting and performance strategy. Innovation & Continuous Improvement · Implement innovative methodologies for performance tracking, leveraging AI and automation tools where appropriate. · Drive a culture of continuous improvement through data-led experimentation and insights. · Champion digital transformation in performance management systems and processes.
Essential - Experience in a strategic, data-driven role within the higher education, edtech, or related sectors
- Proven track record of performance analysis, sales operations, or business transformation
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong understanding of student recruitment processes and institutional KPIs
- Demonstrated experience using analytics tools, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and AI applications
- Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
Desirable - Experience working across multiple institutions or brands within a university group or education organization
- Knowledge of international student markets and related performance drivers
- Familiarity with digital marketing and student engagement strategies
- Experience supporting CMOs or executive leadership with performance insights
