Contract type: Permanent, shifts falling between 6 am and 11 pm, 5 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays.

As a Barback, you’ll support the bartenders in service by ensuring they have the equipment, ingredients, and garnishes they need to ensure smooth and quick service. TheBarback is also responsible for ensuring a clean, well-stocked, tidy, and sanitised bar area. This is the perfect opportunity for someone interested in learning more about the drinks and spirits industry.

Eataly London has 6 bars each with their own personality. Two of them sit within our restaurants on the first floor, each with a unique menu that perfectly complements the food available. On the ground floor, you can find our Central Bar and Piccolo Bar, alongside the outdoor Aperol Sprizzeria and the hidden Mezzanine Bar.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING...

• support the bartenders with ensuring that the bar has adequate levels of stock available throughout the service.
• washing glassware and replenishing ice and stock
• set-up of the bar stations: fruits, herbs, garnishes, spirits, syrups, glassware, tools, etc
• ensuring the bar is always visually appealing to guests, replenishing any displays.
• tiding, cleaning and sanitising bar areas and seating areas.

• A positive, friendly attitude.
• An interest in a career within the bar industry. Previous experience working in a bar is beneficial.
• strong teamwork stills.
• Willingness to be flexible and support multiple teams.availability to work flexibly between 9am and 11.30pm as we cannot offer set shifts or days off. Available for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Fluent in English.
