The Asian Women’s Resource Centre (AWRC) is a feminist organization whose values are founded on commitments to human rights, anti-discrimination and freedom from oppression. The Asian Women’s Resource Centre (AWRC) is seeking a freelance professional to write and design our 2024–25 Annual Report. This is a short-term, freelance contract (over 2–3 days) to be completed remotely. The successful candidate will work closely with the Communications Officer and Assistant Director to produce a visually engaging and accessible report that highlights AWRC’s key activities, outcomes, and impact. You will be responsible for both writing compelling copy and designing infographics and layouts in line with our branding.
Day Rate : £250 per day.
- Proven experience in writing and designing annual reports, ideally within the charity or voluntary sector
- Strong writing skills with the ability to communicate impact clearly and accessibly
- Excellent design skills using tools such as Canva or similar graphic software
- Ability to transform quantitative and qualitative data into engaging visual content
- Confident using Microsoft Office and working independently under tight deadlines
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, professional outputs
- Creative, organised, and able to adapt to changing needs
- Commitment to the feminist values and ethos of AWRC
