Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Commercial Executive to support our commercial team in driving growth and efficiency within our food manufacturing business. This role will provide administrative, analytical, and customer support to ensure smooth operations across both the commercial function and wider organisation. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, with a strong desire to develop their commercial understanding, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. About the role: The position will play a key role in supporting the wider Commercial team, helping us deliver an exceptional customer experience across a dynamic and growing portfolio. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across the business to ensure information is accurate, insightful, and shared effectively. Day-to-day, you’ll take ownership of a variety of tasks—from managing essential administrative processes to producing high-quality sales reports and presentations for both internal stakeholders and external partners. This role offers the chance to grow your career within a supportive and fast-moving commercial team, with exposure to all areas of sales, marketing, and supply chain in the food industry. Responsibilities include: ·Supporting the sales team with customer quotes, orders, forecasting and contracts. ·Acting as a key point of contact for customer queries and building strong relationships. ·Support on internal forecasting; aligning commercial plans with supply chain and NPD ·Assisting with marketing activities, product launches, and customer presentations ·Supporting the Marketing team by gathering insights on external markets ·Support the Commercial team by generating New Line Forms, while working cross-functionally to ensure that you are aligning forecasts for new products and managing raw material risk ·Attend scheduled meetings with the wider business to support the collation of key dates and details for upcoming launches with customers. ·Support the Account Manager & NPD team with the curation and delivery of presentations and meetings ·Involved in day-to-day account management e.g. price queries, supply chain / availability issues & ad hoc enquiries ·Support the Account Manager & NPD team with customer visits both on and offsite. ·Become the point of contact for admin requirements as we on board new customers Keep up to date on market trends such as emerging grocery brands or high street businesses
What We’re Looking For ·Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across all levels. ·Experience in customer-facing environments, demonstrating professionalism and confidence. ·A strong analytical mindset paired with excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail. ·Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and positive, with a proactive and professional approach to work. ·Proficient in presenting information clearly and engagingly, confident using Excel, and quick to adapt to new internal systems and tools. ·A creative thinker who brings fresh, innovative ideas to support brand promotion and engagement, including through social media channels. Essential: ·Minimum 1 years of sales experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry. Desirable: ·Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
