Biocatalysts is comprised of 4 companies, headquartered in Cardiff (Wales, UK) and co-located in Nieuwkuijk (Netherlands), Tampa (Florida, USA) and Ascheberg (Germany). Brought together as an integrated Bioproducts Division in October 2023, it is a wholly owned subsidiary of BRAIN Biotech Group, based in Zwingenberg (Germany). We serve customers globally in markets such as food, baking, beverage and pharma / life science, with a view to “become and stay the world’s leading speciality enzyme company and by the quality and dedication of our people, exceed our customers’ expectations”. ·Preparation, start up and monitoring of enzyme plant production process ·Following standard operating procedures and completing batch records ·Trouble shooting and resolving technical/product issues ·Working closely with Operations, Quality and New Product Development teams when developing new process/technical capabilities ·Solving process problems and exploring innovative solutions ·Ensure maintenance of plant and equipment is carried out to agreed schedules ·Working with your team on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives ·Be conversant with and adopt the procedures stated in the Quality, Environmental Management System (QEMS) Manual and its supporting documents ·Carry out the responsibilities stated in the Managing Director’s Health & Safety Policy ·Operate effectively, efficiently, and safely all plant/equipment needed in production of speciality enzyme ·Environmental, Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP and GMP ·FLT operator ·Due to the nature of our business, various policies around (for example, and not exhaustively) Health and Safety, Food Safety and Environmental Management are in place, and are externally regulated. You are trusted to operate within these rules; and to protect yourself, colleagues, customer and the public at all times ·No job description is exhaustive and we ask all employees to be flexible to undertake other tasks as required by the business |
