PAVIMAR S.A.is seeking a detail-oriented HSQE Auditor to ensure the highest standards of safety and environmental excellence across our fleet. You will play a key role in implementing company policies, analyzing trends, and fostering a robust safety culture both on shore and onboard. The role reports to the HSQE Manager. Key Responsibilities - Compliance & Auditing: Oversee IMS implementation in line with ISM, MLC, DryBMS, and ISO standards. Conduct internal office and shipboard audits as required.
- Monitoring & Analysis: Track third-party inspections, non-conformities (NCs), and incidents. Prepare annual statistics and trend reports to drive improvement.
- Incident Management: Assist in investigations, analyze root causes, and ensure the prompt execution of corrective and preventive actions.
- Administrative Support: Manage MRC meetings (minutes/actions), maintain the digital and physical maritime library, and oversee RA and MoC procedures.
- Training & Engagement: Assist with staff familiarization and develop HSQE programs/campaigns in collaboration with other departments.
Skills & Qualifications - Education: Marine Academy graduate or a degree in Shipping/Maritime studies.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a well-established ship management company.
- Certifications: Certified ISM, ISPS, and MLC Auditor. Possession of (or awareness in) ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 5001 standards audit.
- PC Skills: Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Benefit ERP is a plus. Cyber Security awareness.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills for ship-to-shore communication, strong organizational habits, and fluency in English.
Travel: Ability and willingness to travel frequently onboard our fleet for audits and inspections.
