Position

Proger is looking for an Architectural Engineer to join its Branch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

About the Role

The Architectural Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and supervising architectural projects to ensure technical accuracy, aesthetic quality, and compliance with local regulations. The role involves coordination with multidisciplinary teams, preparing design documentation, following up on project execution, and ensuring that all work aligns with the project objectives, standards, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Develop architectural drawings and technical designs in accordance with project specifications and Saudi building codes.

Participate in planning, design coordination, and project management activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery.

Review and validate design documents, shop drawings, and material submittals.

Supervise on-site implementation to ensure compliance with approved designs, safety requirements, and quality standards.

Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to resolve design and construction issues.

Assist in project budgeting, cost estimation, and resource planning.

Prepare progress reports, documentation, and technical presentations for management and clients.

Ensure all architectural work complies with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) regulations and relevant authority requirements.

Support the development of sustainable and efficient building designs.

Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and draftsmen.

Requirements

Key Competencies and Skills

·Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering (master’s degree preferred).

·Professional Accreditation: Valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).

·Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience.

·Proficient in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and related tools.

·Adequate knowledge of project planning and construction supervision.

·Familiarity with MS Project or Primavera for scheduling and tracking project progress.

·Excellent level of English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

·Saudi National is a mandatory requirement
